I just put together this umbrella and the quality of it is really good. This is very sturdy with the base that you fill with sand and water. The weather was very windy and this umbrella was very stable. The crank to open the umbrella part was easy to use. this also has a sliding handle to set the umbrella to the perfect position for optimum sun blocking. Easy to build and use

Incredibly easy to build. No additional tools required (the pack comes with a small wrench). Assembled the whole thing within 20 min. The umbrella can be opened and adjusted by one person (though it was helpful to have 2 people for the assembly).

Offset Patio Umbrella

The 8 foot offset crank umbrella arrived shortly before the first snowfall here in New England so haven't been able to set it up yet. After unpacking and inspecting all the parts, it appears to be well made with a large 4 piece base that needs to be filled with sand. Great umbrella for the deck or patio

I received this umbrella at the beginning of winter and decided to keep it inside until Spring. I opened the box and inspected the whole assembly. The metal stand and support pole are heavy Guage metal and have a solid finish. The mechanism to raise and lower the umbrella appears to be well made and easy to operate. The fabric of the umbrella is heavy-duty and should hold up well for many seasons. Assembly instructions are simple and clear.

Useful movable or permanent sun shade

Easy assembly and operation, the whole process only took 15 minutes. The shade is adjustable so that it can provide the most shade for whatever scenario you need. It has 4 weights that need to be filled with sand and water (not included) to hold the shade in place and/or you can use the 4 holes in the base frame to anchor it to the deck. My only complaint is that it could use a cover over the weights to keep them in place during windy conditions and clean up the visuals.

Broke after a few days

While it looked great after installations, the umbrella cord stopped holding tension after a few days and not closes on its own.

Don't buy if you have any wind at all

This is a great umbrella at first. Within two months, handle fell off. We rigged it to work. Months later, the pole holding the umbrella bent forward after a mildly windy day despite more than enough sand in the base to hold it down. It's off to the junkyard. I'm so disappointed.
