Perfect tool for ironworkers
This is ironworker's pliers which means it is good at grabbing steel wires and twisting them. I think it is adequate for this job. I used it to twist very thick wires (a lot more stronger than regular tie wires for rebars). It worked very well. The crosshatch grabbing surface is pretty aggressive, as I never lost hold of the wire. The cutting edges are sharp and effective in cutting the same fence wire I was trying to use. I like them well so far! Had mine about a year now. Just wish i knew how insulated they are. Cut good and alot of bite!
Spring fell out, doesn’t open as described
There is nothing to keep the spring in place. It is a flimsy spring with two holes on the inside of each handle. The spring literally just falls out. I would have taken this product back if I still had the receipt. Do Not Buy! It is not a flawed product, it is a flawed design.
They cut great
i purchased these because they were spring loaded. That is, until I used them the first time and the spring just fell out. waste of money
