IMPERIAL® brand base coat plaster is a high-strength veneer plaster designed for two-coat application over IMPERIAL® brand gypsum base. When used as the base coat in two-coat applications, it offers the ultimate in performance and aesthetics. It can be applied to IMPERIAL gypsum base, directly to porous concrete block or over a bonding agent on monolithic concrete. IMPERIAL brand plasters are recommended for interior wall and ceiling surfaces in all types of construction, particularly for hard-wear locations where durability and resistance to abrasion are desired.
