Built for optimal performance, this Imperial Rigid Aluminum Pipe is ideal for clothes dryer, bathroom fan, and general purpose venting. Rigid metal transition duct is the recommended material to use when venting a clothes dryer, as it offers the least resistance to airflow and lint buildup. It is also suitable for versatile installation from both the dryer to the wall, and the wall to the exterior vent. This 4-in by 24-in pipe features one smooth end and one crimped end for simple installation, and a snap-lock system that allows for easy closing of the pipe. Most highlight how simple it is to cut to size with basic tools and fit perfectly with standard ductwork using crimped ends that snap together securely. Many appreciate its sturdy, well-constructed design that withstands regular use without denting or deforming, with a smooth interior surface that performs reliably for dryer exhaust and ventilation. Several note successful use in creative applications like routing through concrete walls.
