Can this be used to adapt a 4 inch cast iron drain line to a 4" pvc DWV pipe. I need to connect to the 4 inch pvc toilet flange.

Can you use this with a pvc fitting only connecting to cast iron or do you need the pvc fitting and pvc pipe first to connect to cast iron?
