Simple and Affordable Coax Tool

I looked at a half-dozen more expensive tools, even watched YouTube videos. I only needed to cut, strip and put two ends on a coax wire and replace another end ... so didn't want to spend a lot. However, after having fun using this tool for those tasks, I ended up offering to put in a TV antennae and route wires to another room at my daughter's home. My 6 year old grandkid could even help.

This all-in-one kit works great.

This was the perfect tool for the job. It cut, stripped and prepped the coaxial cable and then crimped on the included fittings with zero problems. I was thinking I might need the pricier crimpers but this worked great.

Makes Coax Connections Easier

Previously, I had made a couple of coaxial connection in my house using the twist on connectors. Due to their inability to stay as securely as standard crimp on connectors, I ended up just crimping them in place. Using other wire crimps got the job done, but not nearly as easily as having these. Having various sizes to cut and strip the cable at different levels is a huge help as well.

Functional, but not much crimping power

I liked this crimper. It cut and stripped pretty well. Stripping coax is tougher than other AWG wires because of the cladding, but that's not the fault of the tool. I do wish that the pressure I applied was amplified better to the termination. I felt like I had to squeeze ridiculously hard to get it to crimp tight (to where I couldn't pull the connector off).

Worked great!

I was skeptical because it was so inexpensive vs. other crimpers, but it worked great! The crimp wasn't quite as uniform as with a higher quality tool, but it was a solid crimp that wasn't going to come off.

Gets the job done

This stripper/crimper works very well. For the DIY that only needs to replace and end or trim out a house or two, this will work great. It cuts and strips the cable really nice and clean and also makes a solid crimp.

Useful tool for home use

The crimper/stripper works fine. The stripper portion worked well but it takes 2 moves to properly strip the cable. If you have lots of cable to terminate, I would recommend a rotary stripper and compression connectors

Gets the Job done Right the FIRST Time

I absolutely love this inexpensive tool that outperforms many other expensive tools to do the same thing. The blades are always sharp and gives a clean precise cut every time.

Ideal tool for the job

Do it yourself - prepare coax and crimp connector. My TV is up & running.
