Makes the fan way out of balance
Works great, but once installed the fan was WAY out of balance. Not sure how to fix that, yet - we needed the light more than the fan! Also, very little room in the kit for all the wires that have to go in there, so a PITA to install but doable.
Good kit, bright
Replaced boob light on my hunter fan with this. The old one shone too much light in the ceiling and not enough below. Casting a horrible shadow when fan was on. This light kit is brighter and shines down. Very good replacement. Could require some entry level elecrician skills to install depending on your current set up.
Good upgrade from 3 lights ton4 lights!
Replacement assmbly worked better than the orig. Orig assmbly only had 3 lights and they used the non-standard real small bulbs with the skinny little sockets and they didnt throw as much light as the new one with 4 standard sized bulbs. Yhis replacement assmby connected right up with no problems - plug n play. Much better looking and much better lighting! And easier to find and repalce bulbs than the old assmbly.

Easy-peasy.
Could not be simpler to add to an existing fixture. Its a simple plug-in (turn off the breaker) and two screws. Lowes and Hunter shipped it direct to us and it arrived in under a week.

Great air movement
I love the amount of air this fan uses but I don’t care for the remote. Mainly I don’t like that I’m forced to use the remote instead of a traditional wall switch that has worked perfectly for decades. The remote is okay for operating the fan but annoying for turning the light kit on and off because even though it’s mounted right by the door, it’s no longer second nature to simply walk by and flip the switch without looking. Sometimes fancy technology is just annoying.
