I've only had it for a week, but it seems simple to operate and serviceable. The only drawback is that the cord is a little short, and all of the outlets in my basement are in the ceiling. But that's more a drawback of my basement than of the freezer. And putting in an outlet in the open wall in my basement wasn't hard at all.

Love the new freezer. Easy set up, perfect size, and keeps foods frozen and organized. We just purchased one quarter side of beef. Bought this freezer to store the beef and keep the room in our other refrigerator freezer compartments free for other foods. Controls are easy to operate and the light in the compartment when door opens is a plus. Highly recommend this freezer.
