With the included digital humidistat with outdoor sensor acting as controller for your new humidifier, you can set your desired humidity level — and forget it as the unit turns on and off automatically to maintain your preset
The design flow helps reduce unwanted microorganisms in the humidifier so it requires less cleaning than portable units

Great unit with hidden costs
The unit works great and installation is very easy and strait forwards, I would have given 5 stars however you need a lot of axillary components to make it work. If you look up installation instructions for the unit it might bring you to a previous version where the accessories where included. Be prepared to spend an additional $100 for the rest of the components you need to install the unit.

replaced the one I had so it wasn't that difficult
didn't have everything you need to install. had to order parts, waited week for parts to arrive. 1/4 inch hose was OD not ID some back to the store. got the right hose and the fitting leaked, back to the store.
You would think units are bench tested

I read the reviews about how bad the manual is and thought " this doesn't apply to me, I'm experienced. Well, I've never been so confused and mad at myself for buying it.

Too expensive to be disposable
The instructions generally suck, and assume you are replacing a unit instead of a clean install. This makes sense because it is built to be disposable and will only last 1 season. The solenoid fried (AGAIN!), so I'm looking at non-Honeywell parts in hope they last longer than OEM parts.
