Use leather gloves to separate bracket members.
It works well once installed. It takes quite a bit of back and forth movement to separate the the bracket members. I used leather gloves to do this. I had to use the extension provided to make it work with our dresser drawer.

Confusing instructions, straight forward install
They seem to slide really well, I really wish they had fit but the old dresser I was tiring to fix had odd measurements and it didn't work out unfortunately. But if they had fit they would have worked beautifully.

2 Questions
My current drawer slides are 16 1/2 inches (bottom slide). With the Optional extension can i adjust the 16 inch slide to work. Also, my drawers are flush with the cabinet when closed.
