Best waddle for the money

I purchased these waddles for erosion control on my property. They were longer and cheaper than all the other offerings. Good quality product.

great product, messy install

Great product for my steep slope. During install I chose not to drive the stake through the wattle as I have seen done countless times on the side of the road. Instead I drove stakes into the ground and tied the wattles to the stakes about every 2 feet. (Every 2 feet was probably overkill, but I don't want to get out on this steep slope again for a while!) I have also seen installation recommendation of criss-crossing the wooden stakes around the wattle, but I like my version better. Anyway,...

I just received and installed this item about a week ago. it is lightweight and flexible. I have put two of these in my yard to help stabilize a sloped area - I hope to roughly terrace this slope. i bought two and strung them end to end to span the approximately 50' length of the area. i like these and plan to buy 2 more to add an additional "step" about 3 feet further down this slope.
