The nylon Halder Simplex face insert is made from a hard white nylon material. It is not molded however; it made using an extrusion process. This is important because molded face can have air pockets and imperfections that can cause them to crack or shatter. The extruded nylon is very durable and will not crack or shatter, even in cold conditions.
