Coming from a 23 year old B&D gel-cell battery mower, I figured it was time for a replacement. I pretty much know what that can do and what it can't as to run time. Cons: One thing I miss relative to my corded mower is that while the handle folds down at the base for storage, it ends up jutting out "in front" of the mower a foot or so like that, so I loosen the mid-handle bolts to fold it "back" after. I bought this mower 2 weeks ago and have used it twice. I did my research for a couple weeks of virtually all 40, 60, and 80v models on the market. I'm on a five acre lot with about 2 1/2 acres in grass. I bought this mower to use on those parts of the lawn that I can't get to with the riding mower. I got slightly over 60 minutes of run time on the 4 amp battery so I am pleased with the purchase (cut over a half acre with it).
