Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
The cordless electric lawn mower provides a convenient and powerful mowing experience. It is easy to use, with automatic power adjustment and a long-lasting battery. While most users are satisfied with the performance, some report issues with battery life or the bagging system, especially for larger properties. Overall, the mower is well-received for smaller to medium-sized yards.

Coming from a 23 year old B&D gel-cell battery mower, I figured it was time for a replacement. I pretty much know what that can do and what it can't as to run time. So I'm not coming for a noisy, polluting gas mower that can cut thru almost anything. I also familiar with charging Li-Ion packs with fast verses slower chargers. This is where the cordless lawn mower industry should do better in educating the buyer. I have read dozens & dozens of 1 star reviews of customers crying about short run ...
Powerful mower, good quality results
I "upgraded" from a Greenworks electric mower to this battery-powered mower. Overall, the mower itself is very high-quality. Cons: One thing I miss relative to my corded mower is that while the handle folds down at the base for storage, it ends up jutting out "in front" of the mower a foot or so like that, so I loosen the mid-handle bolts to fold it "back" after. On the corded mower, these mid-handle bolts have a quick-release spring-loaded handle that makes it easy; on the battery-powered mow...
I tried all the rest and THIS is the best !
Hello. I was on a hunt and I tried the following mowers: GreenWorks Dual blade: Pros light weight, good for long grass auto-switches to second battery, affordable, comes with 2 batteries Con: misses around corners and some tough grass, no easy store/foldup Ego 21 push: Pros- fast battery recharge/very long lasting battery, easy fold-up/store, well built Cons: High price, bulky, not good with mulching Ryobi 20 inch Pros- very Light weight, looks cool (neighbors loved it), quiet, decent mulch,...
The Miracle Mower
I have always been skeptical of battery operated power tools, seems like they always run out of battery power in the middle of a project. With new battery technology I took a chance and bought the 21" cordless, brushless lawn mower by Greenworks. It was very easy to assemble, no tools needed. I'm pleased to say that after using it the first time on my .75 acre property it performed like a champ. It comes with two batteries, 60v each, that take 40 minutes to charge, and an extra blade. When fini...

Works as well as I had hoped
I bought this mower 2 weeks ago and have used it twice. I did my research for a couple weeks of virtually all 40, 60, and 80v models on the market. My yard is approximately 5000 SF and I'm in the PNW so it's often thick and wet. I went to Lowes to check out the 80v Kobalt mower, which is advertised to be able to handle a half acre on one charge. I knew I wouldn't need that so I opted to save $100 and try this one out. The sales guy said I had 30 days to decide if it was right for me. The mower h...
Skeptic turned fan, electric is the way to go!
At first, I was extremely skeptical. I grew up running gas mowers (among other lawn equipment) for a professional lawn service for a few years. How could an electric mower even come close? That would soon change. Setup was super simple and only took about 5 minutes (not including charging the battery). The mower comes 95% assembled out of the box. All I had to do was attach the upper handle with the 2 carriage bolts/plastic nuts (which come hidden inside the battery compartment of the mower, m...
Pleasantly surprised. Great for small city lawns.
I live on a 50'X185' city lot with Bermuda Grass sod as my primary lawn. The rear most section of my lawn consists of various weeds and Bermuda grass overgrowth. After reading various reviews regarding battery powered mowers, I really did not know what to expect from Greenworks. I expected that the battery would die too quickly, or that the mower would fail to deliver a nice clean cut. I was pleasantly surprised on both fronts. First, lets start with the obvious. If you are cutting your gr...
No More Gas Mowing!
Did a lot of research on battery mowers after my neighbor bought one last summer. I chose the Greenworks model mainly because it has a metal deck and a lot of other battery models are plastic. Tried the mower out yesterday for the first time and it worked really well. Started right up and I was able to cut my entire yard (a little less that 1/2 acre) without having to recharge the battery. It stopped right when I was finishing. I had a couple of areas in my yard where the weeds had gotten a...
From a skeptic
I did my research and decided to finally give up on my gas mower and go cordless. The Greenworks Pro 60 volt 21 inch was what chose. I’ve been through about 3 gas mowers and 2 gas trimmers in the last ten years. Every season it’s either new carb, broken pull cord, busted drive belt plus the usual spark plugs, winterizing, and supplies (2 gas cans-one for mower another for trimmer and blower, 2 cylinder oil, carburetor spay, etc). I woke up today and second guessed myself-maybe a new mower wi...
Greenworks mower
I'm on a five acre lot with about 2 1/2 acres in grass. I bought this mower to use on those parts of the lawn that I can't get to with the riding mower. I got slightly over 60 minutes of run time on the 4 amp battery so I am pleased with the purchase (cut over a half acre with it). However this was in Virginia in July when the grass is neither lush nor thick. The temperature was about 80 degrees and I cut it between 7-8 PM, the grass was 3-5 inches high and I cut it with the mower set on 3 inche...
