This rod snapped after drilling my second hole. I tried to fix it by removing the two screws at the chuck but the rod is not able to be removed.
The device gets hot, be careful.
Poor product. It gets hot so don’t touch the drill bit attached to driller tool. The rod is very flimsy. Did not work for me.

Snapped on me after drilling through 2 studs.
Snapped on me after drilling through 2 studs. I followed the instructions and only used a 3/4 in auger bit same company and that snapped the end of the bit too! Garbage IMHO.
IT will only handle up to a 3/4" drill bit
Wish it was a little more fexible and could be controlled a little easier when drilling through multiple studs
