Sturdy, economical garden beds
The two cedar raised garden beds I purchased were quickly assembled by my husband and son, and I am pleased overall with this product. The boards are unsanded, as described, but we didn't have any splinter issues, as reviewers on some websites have warned. The thickness of the side boards is comparable to that of cedar beds I previously purchased at more than double the price. An ingenious locking system makes the beds expandable, and they can be heightened by stacking new beds on top. Time w...
Best purchase for my garden addition
While planning to add 3 new raised beds in my garden, I came across these "kits" on Lowe's website. I realized they would be much easier than buying all the wood and hardware separately and getting it all home in my car. Had them delivered right to my house and they were a breeze to put together. I struggled more opening the boxes than getting them assembled! Definitely the way to go for me. Very happy with them.
Does Not Work
The boards do not fit into the slotted posts. As recommended in the instructions, I used gentle tapping, then less gentle and finally tried a hammer; nothing worked. Easy to assemble and looks great!
The product comes with all hardware required and only requires a drill and screwdriver to attach the decorative post toppers. The rest of the assembly requires no tools. Very easy and it looks fantastic!

Those I put those in a not too noticeable spot with the bow bending into the soil. The ornamental end caps could have come with drilled dead center holes as well as the the posts they attach to so it took a little time to get right. Overall the parts fit together well and the garden was built quickly. Looks good too. Note: I...
