Short life, but quiet while it works

I used this compressor for about three weeks of moderate use. On the second week the air pressure gauge started leaking, to the point where the compressor would cycle one every five minutes. A week later the compressor just started smoking and shut itself off. The compressor is VERY quiet, and the small motor equals very low amperage draw so you can use it with a small inverter. I had mine for a year, and the first time i really used it the thing died.

Quiet, lightweight, hobby compressor.

This compressor is very quiet and fairly lightweight, but it is NOT a serious work compressor. It works great for occasional tire inflation, small project brad nailer use, etc. but that's about it. Also watch the price on this... as I write this review the three-digit and a half price is way to high for what it is.
