The base is weak thin plastic.

Unfortunately the item is not very durable. The base is weak I have several of these pots and they all start to tilt after a year. It's a poor base design and they do not sell them seperatly.

Don't Buy!

This appears to be a great urn for the money but it is not. This urn is in two parts: the top "planter" part and the base. The base is of poor quality and will not support the weight of the top part once it is filled with soil. We recently filled one of these with soil and within a few hours it was leaning to one side because the base was too weak to support the weight. If the manufacturer would make the base of thicker/stronger material, this could be a great product.

Base collapses

We filled the planter with potting soil and planted flowers in it. Four hours later the base was collapsing on one side causing the plant and plants to tip over. All the time and expenses of the soil and plants were waisted when they end up dumped on the ground. Discussed!!!!!!

Large nice pots

A great bargain for just over $11 each. The one that was shipped separately from the other 4 arrived dirty...I had to move to the porch to open the box to keep the dirt from falling out in the house.

Melted in the shade in a cooler-than-normal summer

Filled with packing foams, potting soil, and impatiens. Even though the planter was in the shade and we've had a relatively cool summer, this planter melted/buckled on one side. Can not be straightened out and has gotten so bad it won't remain upright at all any more. It was money wasted.

Bought one put four different plants in it for my mom and liked it so well I bought myself one. Very light snd seems durable.

Price is right!

I bought this a few years back. I live in Utah and have left it out in all the seasons. The color did fade, but I just recently spray painted it and it looks great again!
