was not sure this would work as a lighting source for my horse barn needed it to be high enough that they could not knock it off the wall scratching on it or chewing on it, yet needed to be able to reach the cord to turn it on and was not sure if attaching a longer cord would still allow it to be turned on added a shoe lace to end of attached cord and ran that through a pcv pipe and it works fine and really provides a sufficient amount of light so that I can feed and water them at midnight durin...

Good price for two lights.

Easy install in a 10x12 shed. Plenty of wire to reach from the solar panel and between lights. Waited a couple days prior to turning on. They work excellent. I put one at each end of the shed and lights up well at night. Would recommend for anyone looking for solar shed light power.

Give it a chance

The first day I opened the package, I allowed the solar panel to charge for about four hours. That night I attempted to get the light working and it lit for a second and then went off. It did this several times. The next day, allowed the light to from morning to that night and it seemed to work fine. I will be putting this light into a playhouse clubhouse I built for my kiddos so I'll see if it stands up to the test.

Buyer Beware of this Junk.

I bought 2 of these light systems for my shed thinking that it would light my shed for short times that I needed it for. One of the systems worked the way it was supposed too but, didn't put off a lot of light. The other system did not work at all. Everytime I tried to turn it on the light only lit for a second and then went off. If this is the future then I feel sorry for mankind. Do not waste you money like I did.

Garbage

Bought these for my barn. First one, the wires were not connected internally. Took out the bulb to try and figure out why it didn't work, the bulb fell apart. Customer service sent me a new unit and everything worked fine. The screws that come with it are cheap and even with predrilled holes, they stripped before going in all the way. Lights only stay on fir about 3 minutes. And the pull cord is only about 8 inches long.

The light works fine. However, the switch cord broke in 3 weeks. I tried to replace the cord but it was weak and broke again. I bought a cable and had a switch installed to the light it works. I wished it had a better switch. It is not worth the money. It only last 3 hours.
