A benchtop vortex mixer that runs at a fixed 6000 RPM on a 6 mm orbital throw which is the combination that folds a settled pigment or reagent back into suspension in about five seconds. Capacity is up to 50 mL. A brushless DC motor draws 4 W and runs quieter than a brushed unit at the same speed. Pressing a tube or bottle down onto the silicone cap starts the mix and lifting it stops the mix so there is no switch to reach for between samples. Four non slip feet hold the 1.5 lb body on the bench against the orbit. The shell is PC with a silicone cap. Footprint is 3.7 x 3.7 x 2.8 in and the unit carries an FCC marking.

Fixed 6000 RPM on a 6-mm Orbit: Speed and throw together resuspend settled pigment or reagent in roughly five seconds for volumes up to 50 mL
Touch to Start: Pressing a tube onto the silicone cap runs the mixer and lifting it stops so there is no switch to find between samples
Brushless DC Motor at 4 W: A brushless motor runs quieter than a brushed unit at the same speed and has no brushes to wear out over a run
Four Non Slip Feet: The pads hold a 1.5 lb body still against its own orbit so the mixer stays put on a bench without being held down
3.7 x 3.7 x 2.8-in Footprint: The unit takes a corner of a nail bench tattoo station or lab bench and runs from a standard 110V outlet
