Eye contact sells a take, and an 8-in beam splitter puts the script directly over the lens so delivery reads straight down the barrel. Seventy percent light transmittance keeps footage bright while thirty percent reflection holds text crisp at reading distances up to 6.5 ft. Phones and tablets up to 8 in clamp in place, Android and iOS both work, and camera bodies mount as long as the lens is 28 mm or wider. Scroll speed, pauses and page turns answer to the app or the Bluetooth remote from 32.8 ft away. Adapter rings from 49 to 77 mm, a magnetic clamp, blackout cotton, a dust cloth and a storage bag round out a kit that weighs 1.46 lb.

70/30 Beam Splitter Glass: An 8 in / 22.35 cm splitter running a 7:3 refraction ratio passes 70% of the light through to the lens and bounces 30% back as script, which stays legible out to 6.5 ft / 1.98 m from the glass
Phones Tablets and Camera Bodies: Devices measuring up to 8 in clamp in with both Android and iOS supported, and DSLR or webcam bodies mount just as readily provided the lens sits at the wide-angle end of 28 mm or longer
Scroll by App or Bluetooth: Scripts run from the dedicated teleprompter app or from the paired Bluetooth remote, which handles page turns, pause and playback speed from as far as 32.8 ft / 10 m away, so the reader stays put instead of reaching back
For Streamers and Trainers: YouTube sessions, Twitch broadcasts, Zoom calls, VLOG shoots and recorded training all read better when the script line sits on the lens axis instead of off to one side where the eyes visibly drift away from the audience
ABS Shell on 1/4-in Threads: A lightweight ABS plastic body carries built-in standard 1/4 in screw holes that accept a wide range of tripods, and the whole unit mounts onto or lifts off the camera lens in seconds when the shoot moves
Specification: Spectroscope Size: 8 in / 22.35 cm; Refraction Ratio: 7:3; Farthest Reading Range: 6.5 ft / 1.98 m; Remote Control Distance: 32.8 ft / 10 m; Supported Focal Length: wide-angle lens over 28 mm
Specification (cont.): Product Dimensions: 8.07 x 3.82 x 6.73 in / 205 x 97 x 171 mm; Product Weight: 1.46 lb / 0.66 kg; Package Weight: 2.2 lb / 1.0 kg; Main Material: ABS plastic; Control Mode: mobile app and Bluetooth; Item Type: desktop
What Comes in the Bag: Eight lens adapter rings at 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72 and 77 mm arrive alongside a dual-use phone and tablet clamp, a magnetic phone clamp, blackout cotton, a dust cloth and a storage bag
Fixed Angles by Design: Spectroscope angle and camera height are both listed as non-adjustable on this desktop model, so framing gets dialed at the tripod head rather than at the prompter, and no display is built in
