Forty-five liters is the point where a full-face helmet fits with room left for a raincoat and a water bottle, which is what separates a top case from a bag bungeed to the seat. The base carries 25 mounting holes, so it lines up with most standard tail racks without drilling new ones. A stainless lock secures the lid and a sealed rim keeps rain and dust out. The shell is 1.2 mm aluminum alloy with bumpers at every corner, and the removable leather lining cushions what is inside. A back cushion supports a passenger under acceleration, and two sets of reflective stickers are supplied.

45 L Takes a Full-Face Helmet: There is room left over for a raincoat, gloves and a water bottle on the same run out on the road
25 Mounting Holes in the Base: The case lines up with most standard tail racks without drilling new holes in it into a tail rack
Sealed Rim With a Stainless Lock: Rain and dust stay out, and the lid locks rather than relying on a bungee strap over a rough road
Touring Commuting and Errand Use: Carries a helmet, shopping or a small backpack on a tail rack through the week without a second bag
1.2-mm Aluminum at 14.3 lb: Corner bumpers take knocks and a removable leather lining cushions what is inside the case
