What Customers Are Saying
The product has mixed reviews. While some found it easy to install and appreciated the added security, many reported issues with the lock's performance in windy conditions, including the lock not properly releasing or engaging, causing the gates to get stuck. Compatibility problems with certain gate systems were also noted, requiring additional modifications. The lock's latch design was considered not secure enough, as it could be easily bypassed. However, the lock was satisfactory for some when installed correctly and in calm weather, helping stabilize the gates. Overall, the product has significant limitations that make it unsuitable for many customers' needs.

I had to purchase a second Zombie Lock because after 2 winters the first one failed due to ice and snow getting into the lock mechanism. Before I install the second unit and I going to put a barrier on the lock to stop some of the snow from entering the lock.

But once I got it all adjusted, it works flawlessly. Super convenient for keepi...

Does not work
We have our gate arm WELDED in place(after confirming we had the ABSOLUTE PERFECT limit set for the zombie lock) and it still doesn’t work! The receiver is also welded in place and not moving. The zombie lock worked for 2 days and now bc the gate is moving EVER SO SLIGHTLY it misses the latch, every.single.time. SOOOOO disappointing bc our dogs just push through the gate without the zombie lock. We can push it or hold it still in the receiver and get it to lock, but then when you get home you h...
