Precision toolkit with full of options!

The toolkit is amazing! It probably does have more options than you need. But when you do need it, it will be there. The tap and die set is also very precise considering existing competition. The best part of the toolkit is the twist lock mechanism on a wrench, making it very easy to make threads without the hand motion of other toolkits. The Gear Wrench 77 piece ratcheting tap and die set is a well-made kit that has both standard and metric taps and dies in popular sizes, in both coarse and fine threads. The ratcheting handle provides good grip and leverage for cutting larger threads easily. Fantastic and organized, only gripe is the taps are hard to remove from their slots. Use gloves! All the dies fit easily and snug, easy to remove and place. Gives great precise use!!

This tool is a must-have, and well worth the price

I've always felt Gearwrench was a bit better than the other choices at a similar price, and this tap-and-die set did nothing to change that opinion. Great buy

This 77 piece tap and die set is very worth the price! It was packaged well and everything has its specific spot which keeps you organized. Finding the right size taps and dies it quick too. I was able to fix this bolt that i needed for a fence project with ease. I did but need any other tools for this job but I can see where a vice would come in handy. So far, everything has held up and seems to be great quality and easy to use!

Great set

I’ve had a dozen tap and die sets. This one is fantastic. Extremely smooth operation. Just continue to oil the threads so that operation stays smooth. This makes short work out of so many jobs. Weight feels great like a quality set and attachments are simple to swap.

junk

used tap 1 time and the teeth just above the taper end broke off and rounded off the taper. dont buy these unless your just trying to tap aluminum, not made for soft steel

Replacement parts???

My set is ok, the large ratcheting t handle failed. I broke a tap and was looking for a replacement but gearwrench only seems to sell the whole kit- no replacement parts
