It is a replacement for a GE model that lasted 2years. A built in so I needed one that fit.. I purchased an extended warranty on the day I ordered it and the warranty started on that day It took 3 weeks to build and deliver the unit to the store. You would think a warranty would start when the item is available to the purchaser.

The installation service was fantastic. The controls are a little bit annoying. I have to choose preset times for cooking rather than just keying in the hours or minutes or what I want to do. And I absolutely dislike having to hit the cancel button to open the door. For me, that’s a waste of my energy. I love the size of the microwave. The color works nicely in my house, but if I had it to do over, I would find a way to get a microwave with better controls. Thank you for asking.

Wow, I’m sure the microwave is great. The experience of buying it and having it installed was horrific. I have a built-in area for the microwave and they said only one microwave. They sent somebody out to measure and I guess the guy that measured never put it into the computer so a week later when I went in there was nothing. Poor quality
Poor quality it’s my 1st GE brand microwave built in wall, but after 1 1/2 year it’s not working. I rarely used it once in while. Everything is good, but it won’t heat up the food.I think GE will fix the issue but they say they only give 1 year warranty.poor service. Won’t recommend. @ GE APPLIANCES

The Microwave open is superb!
This microwave fits our need perfectly. It has pre-programmed buttons for "beverage", "reheat", "melt/soften", "defrost", "pizza", "popcorn", "potato",and "vegetable". It works great. It also has a child safety lock that may be programmed off with a code. It works great and I would highly recommend and yes, I'd purchase again.

Great for 2 years, then sparks and scary sound

Works well, a couple tweaks would make it a 5 star
Overall great built-in microwave. Love the dark gray interior which makes it look more premium. Works well at heating food. Two suggestions: - Add a button to mute or lower the beep volume. Though on this model the beeps are inoffensive and don’t bother me as much as other microwaves. - Make a quiet close door. Closing the door is louder than expected.
