I bought these because the specific light I needed was not closed entirely. They are spectacular and make a great room light. I bought them for my lamp because it is a light that isn’t closed off. They don’t work on lights that are closed from all directions but work on ones like my lamp. The light bulb I took out of the box and screwed onto my lamp is doing its best to do its purpose and promise me that I will have light every night.
