GE Cync No Neutral Wire -Motion + Dimmer 1.5-amp Single-pole/3-way Illuminated Touch Smart Compatible Light Switch with Wall Plate, White

NOT Alexa compatible

Picked this up only because on clearance for cheap. Still not worth it. It does work. Setting it up with GE Cync app went fine and linked OK with Google. Cync may have supported Alexa in the past but linking in no longer possible. Min dimness level still too bright and can't be adjusted. Neutral not used for this model. LED ring always illuminated whether switch is ON or OFF.

I am noting that there are only 15 reviews listed for this product and they are practically all glowing but all 4 years old. Probably because I don't think these work. And I very rarely submit reviews, but given the lack of honest reviews, I thought I should warn people. So I bought two after discovering my wiring for these rooms does not have neutral wires. Switches and dimmers are great, this is not

The Cync switches and dimmers work great and connect with the app well. But these don't at all! got on line with tech support too, tried different routers, tried installing them as close to the router as possible, tried a second switch. no luck what so ever!

The motion detection is nice but my personal favorite thing is the schedule and control away from home options. If I leave and forget to turn it off I can use the app and do so whenever I'm at. Its nifty. Dimming works great too.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great product. Not only can I turn my lights on and off with my phone I can make it so the lights dim when nobody is in the room. No more hounding my kids to turn the lights off when they leave my lights can do it for me. My whole house will be on this system asap

Quality Dimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality dimmer switch that integrates with either the C by GE app, or better yet with Google Home. They have a nice touch and a light ring around the switch for a night light. The best part is they work with incandescent bulbs, normal LED dimmable bulbs, and LED smart bulbs. Nice installation instructions and hardware included. Comes with a nice wall plate, or you can fit it into a multiple switch standard wall plate.
