Big Disappointment

I bought this dryer 4/2022. I got just over 3 years use of it, and now it takes over 2 hours to dry stuff. It is a very big disappointment, and certainly not energy efficient. I contacted GE, and got all kinds of instructions on drying clothes, even though I have been drying clothes for 50 years. They suggested calling for a repair - the machine is less than 4 years old, and in my opinion, that should not be needed. No more GE products for me.

Large drum

Do not like this dryer at all. It has a large capacity but it dies not dry well. The temperature is on hot and I have to repeatedly put items back 2 and 3 times for 40 minutes and they still are not dry it makes me very angry and takes me forever to finish my laundry day. Anything with elastic NEVER dries near the elastic. Sorry I bought this product.

Poor features & Lifespan

Best drawer and matching washing machine

This is the best dryer I have had. I have the washer to match. It does not have the time sensing feature and I am a so happy! I have had these for at least 5 years and they are the best. The washer is a front end loader!!

Fool me twice

This is the second time I have tried this dryer. Last purchase was in June 2023. The turn knob for the setting just becomes stripped or something, and will not engage and becomes very difficult to turn. The dryer won't come on at all. I thought maybe my first dryer was just defective, but this dryer has had the exact same part go bad.

Dried socks but gave Uncle Jim a Vietnam flashback

Dryer works great at drying wet clothes but I was unaware about the mandatory War Veteran psychological breakdown feature that you can disable. It is sufficient at its job I must admit as right when we got Uncle Jim to stop shaking uncontrollably and coaxed him out from under the couch 5 minutes had passed without opening the dryer door so it took it upon itself to fire off again right when he thought it was safe. Back to the Basics an Excellent Drying Dryer!

Our dryer died and we spent a frantic couple of days looking at replacements at the big box stores (lowe's, home depot...) so many options nowadays have excessive bells, whistles and the functionality is often overlooked or a second thought. After window shopping we narrowed it down to our top 3 and read reviews (good, bad and mediocre) and this was the brand/model we went with. Broke after one year

Purchased in April of 2024 scrapped out August of 2025... We repaired it but it broke again just two months later. We've wasted 1000 usd on this and I am not a wealthy man... Don't buy this.

This dryer is a big,loud lemon

I was so excited to get a new dryer. I went through so much trying to purchase, and get it to our home to have it connected. The place I bought it from, kept forgetting about me. Delivery was deleted on accident, and never put back in for over a week. Then,once I got it here, I didn't have a power cord or vent hose. Nobody informed me that I would be needing these.
