The ABB THQL Q-Line dual function breaker (DFCI) prevents against both Ground Faults (GFCI) and Combination Arc Faults (AFCI). The GFCI protects against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults preventing electrical shocks. The AFCI is designed to eliminate arc faults preventing damage or fires that can result from arcing and sparking arising from deteriorated wires, poor connections and breaches in wire insulation. It comes equipped with a push button self test and LED light codes for troubleshooting trips. The ABB dual function breaker is rated at 10 kAIC. It accepts wire sizes of #14-8 AWG. They are NEMA Approved, ANSI Certified and CSA & UL listed. The ABB Dual funtion breaker is compatable with ABB ReliaHome & GE PowerMark Panels. ABB Dual Function breakers replace the GE brand breakers.
