Very poor quality

Would Not Recommend

Same issue as others have pointed out. The screw that attaches the foot pedal is tiny and wears through the very thin metal holding it in place, which then causes the foot pedal to detach. One would think that more thought would have gone into making such an important piece of the compactor (and the piece takes the most abuse) more resilient. It's actually laughable once you see it that anyone thought it would withstand hundreds of impacts from people stepping on the pedal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needs outer handle to pull open. Does not feel right just stepping on the bottom handle. My older GE compactor bottom handle kept getting disconnected.
