Only had this 1 day, 10,000btu cooled my 15x20 bedroom well. But I find it very loud.

Great WiFi feature

This unit with the wifi and the app has help control my cooling needs. I can turn on unit from phone and when I arrive 5 hours later the room is cooled down.

Single hose portable AC's SHOULD BE AVOIDED

Single hose portable AC's are the absolute worst. They let heat in or nasty outside air by creating negative pressure in the space they're "cooling". This one in particular causes my bathroom exhaust fan, outlets and countless spaces to let outside air in. The single tube also radiates a bunch of heat; very hot to the touch. GE should be ashamed of themselves for charging over $600 for such an inferior and flawed product.

Junk. Fooled 2x. Never again.

Piece of junk. 2nd unit. Neither one lasted longer than a single season. Will never purchase again.

Easy to operate

Works great!! Keeps air in room cozy. Semi quiet..

Strong unit

Works very well. Small home in PR, concrete and block construction. If you've been you'll know what I'm talking about. Minimal footprint, system delivers more than enough to cool common space. Bedrooms have separate units. Excellent alternative to mini split imo. Only gripe is that whoever packs the sealing foam strips rendered them useless by folding and using a rubber band.

Terrible design

The product is built in a way where it can not handle a high moisture areas. The drain hoses when hooked up properly don't even drain the unit properly. The design was not mentioned to be in the florida humidity. Every one of these units have broken down within a year we've gotten 3 of them. We have given each of them proper up keep , even so far as cleaning each filter twice a week.

Only lasted 3 weeks

Very sad that such a big brand has very short life Expectancy. Just goes to show how building cheap, only gets poor quality items. You were once an amazing brand. You still can be just stop cutting corners and go back to quality first.

Does not blow cold air

Have tried to use this unit to cool one small bedroom and after several attempts it will not blow cold air. When using in fan mode it blows air that is the same temperature as when it is being used in the cooling mode. The temperature in the room actually went up 2 degrees after using the unit for an hour in a bedroom with the door closed. I was hoping to use this during the unbearable summer months, but can’t even get it to blow cloud air with temperatures in the 70’s outside.
