So far I'm happy with this unit. I've only had this product for several weeks for my basement. I had an old frigidaire dehumidifier which lasted over 13 years. I did my research on this unit and it's working as stated.

Won't last
Bought it in the summer of 2023 and only used 4-5 months a year. This year, 2025, I went to set it up and it gave me a EC code, which means it is no longer repairable. 2 seasons of partial use, and the unit is done. I didn't want to believe the reviews, but maybe I should have. The reason I didn't give it one star is because when it did work, it did a good job.

I've seen other reviews indicating that it doesn't do the 4500 sq ft it advertises, but for 1200 or so (what I have) it does the job quite well. Keeps the humidity in the basement below 50%, even in warm weather/rain. Very quiet. Can barely hear it outside of the basement. I do wish for the size of this, it had a pump but it does have functionality for a hose to drain, so its at least an option. The...

Great Dehumidifier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working really well! Can’t believe how much water it pulls from my home. MUCH lower humidity in my house. My home is old and in central Florida so it’s pulling 50 pints about every 12 hours. I turn it off at night so I don’t have to get up and empty. I highly recommend. Easy to use and has a handle on the reservoir making it easier to empty.

Works well but could use a bit of automation
