Learn MoreThe Firepower Nandina is an evergreen shrub that is prized for its red fall foliage that lasts through winter. During the Spring and Summer the Foliage of the Firepower is green. ---------- This item includes one 2.5 Quart Firepower Nandina (live plants) in plastic pots with soil. The pots will be wrapped in a poly bag to retain moisture and hold any soil that shakes lose in shipping. The plant will be shipped in a cardboard box that has been designed to hold the plant in place to reduce any chance of damage in transit. As soon as the plant arrives it should be unpackaged, un-bagged, and watered. --------These plants ship from the Gulf Coast of Alabama. We recommend that customers outside of the southeastern United States order during the milder times of year (Spring/Fall) to prevent heat/cold stress during transit.

Mature size: 3 feet H x 2 feet W
Outdoor/landscape hardy USDA Zones: 6 - 11 (below zone 6 this plant should be grown in containers/planters that can be moved indoors during the winter)

Planting/fertilizing: use well-draining garden soil mixed with your native soil to backfill the hole; to maximize growth, apply a slow-released slightly acidic fertilizer each Spring

Very Pleased
Plants came quickly and were well packed and in excellent condition. i was hesitant to purchase plants on line for delivery but Lowes demonstrated that it was easy and worth it.

Wonderful!!!
The plants came quickly and were in great shape. They were well protected in traveling and were very healthy. It was great that they came right to my door and I did not have to bring them in the car.

Two were dry. Description said height up to 3 ft but the instructions attached said only up to 2.5 ft.

Packaged well. Soil was over saturated, leaves were chewed, turning yellow and brown. Root system was in bad condition. See next to healthy Soft Touch Japanese Holly. Poor babies. Not sure what's happening in their nursery. Hope this issue is resolved soon.
