Pretty straightforward. The biggest challenge was determining the direction of orientation and where the anchor points would be. Overhead Adjustable Storage

Instructions were decent and all parts went together pretty easily. I was able to install this myself. When it came time to attach the rack/shelf to the ceiling mounted arms, I used 3 ratchet straps attached to the ceiling mounted arms and connected the other end to the shelf and was able to suspend it in the air while attaching the four corners.

Nice system, but flawed

We purchased two of these storage systems. First one went up well, although the holes don't always line up when first assembling. Like the other reviewer mentioned, this does not work with joists that are 24" apart because the bar is 20". Had to find an alternative just so that we could get this hung, which cost us time and money. Not designed for an American market.

Easy to install with 4 hands and 2 ladders.

The directions are abbreviated so read them a couple times. Use a buddy and get ready for sore fingers with the Allen wrench. It is super sturdy and holds a lot of gear. The adjustable height and solid construction is awesome. Use some clamps to help hold the sections together while you line up bolts and don’t tighten everything until they are all in.

Doesn't work with 24" on center joists

The instructions say that the ceiling brackets should be attached to 2 separate joists. That's fine, assuming that your joists are 16 inches apart, but it doesn't work if they are 24 inches apart because the brackets are only 20 inches long. Maybe I'm missing something, but it's not obvious to me. I tried calling the company, but they didn't answer.

Very good design

The adjustable height is great, especially for my 10 foot high garage ceiling. And because of the 'J' style hook connectors to hold the base, I was actually able to install the base singlehandedly.

Does not include the parts it claims to

I bought three of these at the same time. Not a single one came with the two "connecting plate" items the instructions state. Waste of almost $600 for cheap crap that cannot work.

Good value

Really thought they where very easy to install and a good value. They seemed to be a little flimsy until it was all together and it is at that point it was sturdy and solid!

Perfect Fit For My Need

This product fit my need perfectly, and was fairly easy to install. And the Staff at my local Lowes store was very helpful in delivering my order to my curbside delivery parking space.
