I found this chair to be very comfortable and ergonomic. The padding is soft and firm, which I really like. I also find it's support to actually helps promote proper posture. While sitting upright is extremely comfortable, it doesn't lean back well. It's very tight, so sit back if you're watching a YouTube video or DVD movie, it takes a bit of leg-pushing to recline. This chair is beautiful and perfect for our home office. Very comfortable with lumbar support for our backs. Seat only has minimal movement (ideal for my 70-yr old husband) so don't look for any "rocking" motion with this chair. The seat back is very tall even for a high back chair.
