The BRK SC7010BV hardwired talking smoke and carbon monoxide alarm features a photoelectric smoke sensor and an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor. The exclusive voice alarm not only alerts you whether the threat is smoke or carbon monoxide, but also tells you the location of the danger. You can pre-program up to 11 locations in your home. The 120-volt alarm is designed to be hardwired into your home or office and offers a battery backup for continued functionality in the event of a power outage. The one-touch silence/test button makes it easy to operate. Connect them to other compatible hardwired detectors as part of a system for larger spaces. Do not use this smoke/CO alarm in warehouses, industrial or commercial buildings, special-purpose non-residential buildings, RVs, boats, or airplanes.

New name same product!

Would Recommend

So far so good! It fits perfect with our system that we already have in the house right now. We thought it was discontinued because we couldn't find it anywhere in the stores, but name changed and everything else is the same.

First Alert Smoke/CO Alarm

Would Recommend

I was a bit disappointed when the detectors arrived. The manufacturer date was August 2023. The detectors are only good for 10 years, I will only get 9ish years out of them. This is not a First Alert issue, the detectors are fantastic. The issue is the amount of time they sat in a warehouse.

Good purchase overall

Would Recommend

Everything was fine except getting information about the order and tracking the order was difficult, as the links would never recognize the order number. At least it showed up!

A reliable unit with a 10 year life expectancy

Would Recommend

I have 6 of these units throughout my home which I originally installed 10 years ago. They are reliable and they identify the cause and the room that has triggered the alert. Warns of both Smoke and Carbon Monoxide. Lowes had the best current price for this unit which is now getting a bit hard to locate. If you use this model, you might want to stock up now while you can. Recommended unit but as with everything else, they are getting pricey.
