Limited use for covering asbestos tiles

I purchased this encapsulate under the impression that I could cover over asbestos tile and then paint over it. I didn't have the money to install flooring over it. It 100% does not work for this purpose and now I have to rethink my whole renovations of my basement now. It's a pretty expensive product that doesn't work in the way I needed it.

Works great no stink

Would Recommend

Easy to use and didn't stink up the house any worse than latex paint. Applied 3 coats for full coverage at full strength for 9x9 tile floors. Thin enough to be absorbed into everything and create a nice tight seal.

Effective and easy to use

Would Recommend

For a 1200ft2 house, the basement ducts and plenum needed about 1 gal for three undiluted coats. Was easy to apply and odor free. Used a chip brush and 4in roller. It soaked into the asbestos tape and filled the gaps. Very happy knowing my family is safe. Wear a p100 mask while working, though.
