Matches Trex basic decking perfectly! Easy to use

The new updated quick strip for the little plugs is super handy and much easier to use than the previous loose version. Much less waste! They do tend to drill out the screw head if you misplace one and try to pull it back out (before you have plugged it, obviously). I sent in a couple in the wrong place, and when I attempted to back them out, it was really hard and I had to go get a rubber band to get some grip to keep it from stripping the head. The cortex fasteners are pretty good and do hide the fastener well. I think they are faster than the hidden clips, my only issue is that, on occasion, the fastener does not drive far enough down, and also, I’d you need to back out a screw they strip out very easily and become hard to remove

What a waste of money, used them to hang some PVC trim and went to back out the first one and the "Star" bit stripped instantly. I ended up pulling the board and having to use pliers, thank god it was only one I put in, and went with deck screws. Biggest mistake buying these I have done to myself in years. Screws have threads running two directions and bits are star and garbage.
