The EX470 is an ergonomically designed MultiMeter with a built-in, non-contact infrared (IR) thermometer. The IR thermometer provides fast, easy, and safe measurements ranging from -4F to 520 degrees F (-20 to 270 degrees C) in a wide variety of applications including locations that are unsafe to touch or hard to reach. A built-in laser pointer targets the area being measured. Emissivity is fixed at 0.95 covering nearly all applications for non-contact surface temperature measurements. The meter has a 4000 count display, 0.3% basic accuracy, capacitance and frequency functions, and type K thermocouple measurements in addition to its IR capability. It is rated CAT III- 600 V. additional features include: relative function, audible and visual input warnings, and low current ranges for use with optional current clamp-on adapters.
