The fabric has a soft velvet feel that gives a luxurious look. For such a light color, they block out a surprising amount of light. The soft velvety texture matched perfectly with the deep turquoise color. They worked wonderful with keeping out light but didn’t darken the room when you wanted the light in.

It was fairly easy to set them up on the curtain rod without help and they feel durable and like they're made out of high quality material. The velvet makes them look super nice, instead of plain. They're thin too, which is actually nice for me. They're about the same weight as her current blackout curtains.
