Fragile! Our Lab poked a hole in the plastic
The design of the bowl is good for slowing down eating. BUT, like others have said the plastic is very fragile. Our lab managed to put a tooth hole in one of the channels while eating and probably swallowed the plastic in the process. DO NO BUY. there are metal versions of this concept that are probably better.

DO NOT BUY
This was a complete waste of money. The bowl shattered in pieces when dropped from two feet high.

It’s ok
Broken immediately. Looks like it is tough but it is not. Got bumped into the wall and chipped

Slows my dog down
I bought this slow feeder for my dog a couple of weeks ago. So far it has been great. The last one I had was chewed up by my dog. It does slow down his eating. I hope this one will last a while.

Very happy
My dog was slinging food all over the floor when eating. This bowl has helped keep it about 95% contained. Still a few pieces around the bowl but so much better with this new bowl. Very happy

Didn’t work out for my pup
I bought this a few days ago because my puppy was eating too fast but the groves were too deep that he became discouraged and decided he didn't want to eat from it. I love the idea of slow feeding but I think this one was too deep and challenging for my boy.

Cheaply made
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was carrying my pup’s food and dropped the bowl. One side of it completely shattered so it’s pretty cheap/ thin plastic. I have dachshunds as well so this specific bowl did not slow them down too much.
