Does not stain well.

These are made from multiple pieces of wood and glued together. They stain terribly. The different pieces of wood stain completely different from each other and the glue lines become VERY obvious. If you're going to paint them they will work, but useless if you're planning on staining them.

Confused

I bought two for the installation. I laid them out for the installer. They looked the same, but they were not. One was alot heavier than the other one. Too late to take them back to get two alike. The installer put them both up and you can't tell the difference. They look great, but I know one is not as strong.

Classy

I bought three to support my granite. I received nothing but compliments my granite is beautiful but once they see these corbels they become the subject of the conversation. I painted them white and they just pop. Great product.

Sales person forgot to order supports for granite overhang on island so I was suddenly in the position of having to get them on my own, or wait even longer to get custom ones to match. Lowe's was very helpful, bit it is a bit disappointing that there were only two styles available. One was very stocky and a bit too ornate for me. Luckily they had this one, which is a little cleaner line, and more modern (although frankly I would have wanted even more clean lines). They only had one at the store,...

Corbel misfire

I was looking for a nice size corbel for my fireplace mantle and this was the largest Lowes had available. The same day I found a nicer larger corbel at Home Depot and returned thus one.

Perfect for strengthening our kitchen peninsula

Bought three of these to strengthen our kitchen peninsula breakfast bar. Picked them because they were a light maple like our kitchen. There were built-in hangars on the back of each that I thought might be hard to line up but it was not a problem. Turned out great. The only negative is that there was a difference in the wood tone on one of them that made it (the middle one) darker than the two side ones after I sprayed a matte clear finish on them.
