Could not get the temperature above 95 to 104

I bought this to make dog treats and jerky. The temperature dial has three settings with the top setting up to 154 degrees. The instructions said to preheat the dehydrator before placing the trays of meat in. I waited up to 30 minutes and the temperature never went above the 95-to-104-degree setting. I've read this is not a safe temperature for drying meat, so I am returning the unit.

We have only done apple slices so far, but it was a fun little thing to do together this summer, and it worked well! It was easy to clean, and is sleek looking, which is nice since you can set and forget it. I’m happy with this product and can’t wait to try other foods!

Best dehydrator on the market

Of course the thinner you slice the food, sooner it gets dehydrated. Make sure you don't overlap food. Absolutely a must in every kitchen.

Nice Size For A Beginner

The temperature control makes it easy to dry foods quickly. I like that I can wash the trays with soapy water or put them in a dishwasher. If you want to make some healthy snacks for your family, I’d recommend this dehydrator.
