Not smooth on both sides

This product is smooth on one side and wood grain on the other. My needs were smooth on both sides. Nowhere in the description does it say what it it is. I asked at the store and on line and no one could answer my question. The only way I could find out was to order the produce and see. It was not smooth on both sides and so I returned it. It also was Royal brand, not Ekena.

Used these to trim our kids bathroom. Nice smooth texture looks like real wood. They were slightly warped but were pliable enough to easily bend into position before nailing.

PVC Trim Board

I had a rotten wood board under my sliding glass doors. Removed the rotten trim and replaced with this PVC casing. Great replacement. Just cut to length and glued on. Then secured with screws.

Ingenious

This material is amazing. You have to be careful cutting it with the right tools, but I don't see any drawbacks. I used it for exterior window trim and it was flawless. And if you hate to paint as much as I do, you'll appreciate that NO PAINTING IS REQUIRED!

Product ORANGE

I ordered 6 of these PVC boards at $40.00 each. I just opened the second box which contains four boards and found there is orange markings over the edges and the face. I bought these expensive boards for many positive reasons, one of which is the pure white color and NOT orange stripes. I would think the manufacturer would step up and replace them but I'm sure this review goes into a pile and not acted on. I have more projects for this material if we can get this resolved. See pics
