Initially I was shipped this item and due to not having a Hub, couldn't use it. Eaton reached out and sent a replacement without need to have a hub. Unfortunately I couldn't install it personally and needed a friend that's an electrician to assist because of a wiring issue in my home I did not expect, so photos weren't able to be taken.... other than the wifi function isn't great, the switch is pretty good. Doesn't connect to Alexa / Ring
After some trial and error from suggestions from people online I got one of the two I bought to connect to Ring, but the second would not. Adding to Ring it would just immediately say "Retry". Tried the various methods posted online like adding without the QR code number. Doesn't work. I'll have to replace both since their appearance should match.

Very high failure rate
I wish I could give a zero star rating. Don't waste your time and money on this product. I expected Eaton to be a more reliable brand, but so far 3 out of 4 of these switches have failed within months of installation. I hired an electrician recommended by Eaton for the installation to ensure the three-way switches were wired correctly, but two failed within a few weeks and the third within 9 months. Doesn't Need Companion Switch in 3 Way Install
The specs of this state "3-Way control ONLY when used with Accessory Switch". That isn't the case. This works perfectly with a regular (not 3 way) toggle switch. Search for the video by Big Jon who explains it clearly in less than 2 minutes.

Works with Hubitat Hub
The instructions a little off. I do not have a 3-way set up & originally wired the blue wire to the load & nothing. Switched the load to the red wire & bingo. Don’t forget to put a wire nut on the blue wire if not using the switch on a 3-way set up.
This replaces the older model number 9501
Easy to replace with my old switch. I installed it myself with no issues.
