Absolute Trash
Wired the outlet in per instruction (I am very well versed in home wiring). Went to connect to the router and spent two hours with no luck. Factory reset the outlet and tried again. Finally got it to recognize the outlet in the app but the outlet failed to pair to the wifi (2.4 g channel). Reset it again and now it won't even go into pairing mode. Don't waste $40 on this overpriced piece of trash. To make it worse, only one outlet is controlled which I didn't find out until after purchase....

Caution When Buying
I purchased two thru the Lowes from Concord NH via on-line. When I finally went to install the two outlets, both boxes were previously opened. Both did NOT WORK. It was obvious these were returned as in both boxes had bits of copper wire in them.

Only one outlet is Smart
I had my electrician install this. WiFi setup was easy and quick. My main issue is that only one outlet can be controlled, the second one is just a regular outlet. I wouldn't complain about it had I known but after extensive research, I found out this information is not Disclosed by Eaton ANYWHERE, not on packaging, not on online descriptions / specifications and not on online manual and instructions. Works really well, all you need is the Alexa app.
I would have given five stars if it worked out of the box. Instead, I had to cycle the modes on it by holding the on/off button for five seconds, then toggling to a mode that allowed it to connect to the Alexa app. I really like that all I need is the Alexa app to set it up and manage it. I never had to download a third party app.

Works really well
I connected it to power and WiFi and I can perform all the stated functions. I was expecting some difficulty controlling the outlet but it works great. It’s a start to a smart home for me.
