I had this outlet for 3 years, with barely any plug/unplug cycles, but I just discovered that the flimsy tamper proof tabs just don't work if they are scratched up a tiny amount and damage the little nib on the front. I contacted Eaton, and they agreed that it failed prematurely, but said it could be cause by excessive force and to go buy a new one. Kthxbai. I also have had a Leviton T5636-W for the same time and it is so much better! 60W of USB-C power delivery and the tamper proof is way more...

Gotta have "C"s
I didn't realize the USB jacks were both C type until after I got it, so I was kind of bummed and thought I wouldn't be able to use it. But since USB-C is the way of the future (at least until the next thing comes along), pretty soon I had a few things that used a type C. My nice hubby installed it for me near a corner of the kitchen island, and voila, a charging station. Works great and has a nice clean look.

Great for getting rid of phone chargers
I had an old USB A outlet that this replaced. The USB-C and increased power output is great! This was simple to install just like a normal outlet. I didn’t get a picture of the install, but it uses clamp blocks. You’ll need to straighten out the hot and neutral wires, cut them to the right length, and then slide them into the right blocks and tighten down. So far I’ve tested this with my iPad, Meta Quest 3, and iPhone, and it charges all of them quickly.

Easy instal USB-C outlet upgrade.
With a house full of teens, device charging blocks dissapear fast, and when mom or dad need a charger, none to be found. This outlet with integrated USB-C is a great upgrade to our kitchen counter. Easy install, but be sure to check your electrical box clearance, bigger internal than a regular outlet. Fit in a regular box, will not work in a shallow box.

I love the versatility of this outlet. Besides have a normal outlet, there are two USB--C sockets. Everything these days comes with this option. I used mine to mak a small extension cord for the jobsite.

So handy and convenient
So handy and nice looking. This outlet is so convenient to be able to plug in not only 1 charging cord, but two without sacrificing a working outlet.
