Lasts fairly long in electronic devices. I usually buy them when I see them on sale and/or with a coupon. So far they've stored pretty well until needed.

bought to replace batteries in key fob , didn't work, being an electrician had to find out why ?figured out the bitter coating that they put on batteries to help prevent little ones from swallowing prevents proper electrical connection, solution is lightly Sanding both sides and edges of batteries. hope this helps others.
