Tricky all the way around

There are lots of things you have to do to make sure you install these tiles right! First you have to line them up so the flanges slide into each other: it's not obvious they're set so the tiles go only one way with only one orientation. That means it pays to check each before applying construction adhesive to ensure you don't have your tiles upside down. Great Product, But Trim Didn't Match

Use: Kitchen Backsplash Pro's: These tiles install very easily by simply applying some adhesive on the back and sliding them together tongue and groove style. They look great and with the right tools, they cut easily. I didn't find the score and snap method to be all that effective or efficient, so most of my cuts were done with an oscillating tool, a table saw, and a mitre saw. Convincing look.

I installed this product in my tub surround. Glued directly to durarock with a membrane. The dumawall scored pretty easy with a razor, but you really have to score it hard. Most other cuts were made with a jig saw. It is easy to install but I wouldn't say it was significantly quicker than using ceramic tile. It looks fantastic, my wife loves not needing to clean grout lines. Be sure to use clear caulk in the groove connections, and be generous. I was conservative with the caulk on the first wall...

Great tiles, but Lowe’s, where is the trim?

Great look, easy to work with and put up. I used a table saw with a regular wood blade to cut tiles down, though scoring with a knife and breaking is also possible - I just found the knife wandered too easily in the soft material. Putting these up in a shower stall like I did requires caulking all the joints, which is a little tedious. The result looks great, though. No Grout!

My top reason for installing this product was to avoid grout in the shower. It was easy to install but the sealant was a little messy to work with. I was very careful when laying the tiles out to be sure I wasn't repeating patterns too close together. Also be aware that because of the interlocking system, you can't use scraps/cut tile like you would normally so there is a lot of waste. I found about 30 percent of the tiles had finish blemishes such as bubbles or rough areas where the top coat was poorly applied. Also, the rate of waste was high due to top and bottom of tiles not being interchangeable. The whole installation process for my application was time consuming and tedious as the tiles were installed onto existing porcelain tiles on tub surround along the sides down to the floor and the same for the top of shower stall to the ceiling and down the sides to the floor. ...

Kitchen Redo

We saw these in the display in the store, took a picture and went home. In a day we decided they were just what we were looking for to use as a backing for the new countertop we had purchased. Bought what we thought were enough to do our entire kitchen. Now that it is all together we really are very pleased with the job and the way our new kitchen looks after 37 years.

Dumawall tiles

This is a great product. I used it to create a shower encloser. You should see it. It is beautiful. Easy to use use and easy to install. Since it is interlocking, all you have to do is install the first tile level at the bottom, then, the rest of the tiles interlock and it would be very difficult to make a mistake. The installation guide is contained in each package, and easy to read and follow.

Cracks easily

We purchased these for our bathroom reno, looks beautiful but we either got two older boxes as the corners cracked really easy.the other four boxes were fine. We had a standard 60 by 30 shower so it was a bit expensive. One advice, MAKE SURE YOUR WALLS ARE LEVEL.we purchased a new saw blade 60 teeth and cuts super smooth. Now what other project can we do with these?

SUPER EASY!!

Use these for the first time doing a kitchen remodel and I loved it. I'm a 24yr old girl who can build a walk-in shower with ceramic tiles and thought that was easy but these are so simple there is no way anyone can mess up. SUPER EASY AND BEAUTIFUL.
