Great looking mantel, light weight.
I got a contractor to install this over my fireplace for me because I didn't want to drill holes in brick. It looks really nice and did not appear to be any trouble to install. Fasteners for this type of surface were not included in the box but that's OK witih me.

Sharp!
This made a really sharp looking mantel for above our fireplace. Quality item. It was really easy to install with a drill. It took us about 60-90 mins. We are not professionals, and we also did not know exactly how high we wanted to put it when we started. So that took some of the time. We did use our own 5 inch screws. It looks even more stunning in person. Thanks for a quality item.

The mantel seems to be built well but does not look like the photos in the Lowes ad and after opening has a very strong chemical or stain smell I have it opened and in the garage to see if the smell gets better. I can not put this in my homr
