Tangerine is a variety of smaller orange citrus trees called mandarins. They have thinner skins than oranges, making them easy to peel. These are tropical, and so need to be in a container that can be moved indoors in colder climates. They can grown very large over many years, up to 10 to 15 feet tall. They like nice sunny and warm locations. Fruit typically arrive in October and November. Keep in mind that these trees are starter trees, and will not produce until they are 3-year to 4-years old.
